Janet Jackson, youngest sister of Michael Jackson, and the youngest daughter of the famed Jackson family, announced this morning via her representatives that she is "abandoning all secular music endeavors, effective immediately".

Sources say that  Ms. Jackson visited the home of Tyler Perry, for a dinner celebrating the pending release of "Why Did I Get Married, Too", which is released tomorrow in theaters. While at the get-together, Janet sat down with Bishop T.D. Jakes, who began to counsel her over her "spiritual wellness relating to events of the past year", the source said.  The source continues, "somewhere during the conversation, Bishop Jakes began to pray over her and Janet broke down, even speaking in tongues, with tears streaming down her face. It was beautiful."

The source concludes that, at that moment, Janet decided to reinvent herself as a Gospel artist. Her new album, which was still being recorded and slated for later this year, has been scrapped and a new one will be recorded  in its place, with production from J. Moss, Kirk Franklin, Deitrick Haddon, and "Bapostogic" creator Bryan Wilson.
