Felipe Luciano (of The Last Poets): "Jibaro, My Pretty Ni**er" (Def Poetry Version)

One of my favorite poems of all time from one of my heroes of the spoken word.

My father (who rolled with the Young Lords in NYC) taught me about Felipe Luciano and the Last Poets as a child and it helped shaped me as a spoken word performer/poet  in high school and as a lyricist in songwriting.

Felipe Luciano and the Last Poets are the TRUTH.
