RIP, Jerry Leiber, Legendary Rock & Roll Songwriter

Legendary songwriter Jerry Leiber, who, as lyricist,  partnered with composer and teenage friend
Mike Stoller  to create Rock & Roll, soul and doo-wop classics for Elvis Presley, Ben E. King and The Coasters, passed away today of cardiopulmonary failure at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

"Charlie Brown"
"Along Came Jones"

Jerry Leiber was 78 years old.
