RIP, Legendary Singer and Songwriter Nick Ashford

 Nick Ashford, one half of legendary recording and songwriting husband and wife duo 
Ashford & Simpson, passed away today at the age of 70 from complications of throat cancer.
Mr. Ashford, along with wife Valerie Simpson, created some of the most memorable
soul & R&B music of the 60's, 70's and 80's, as well as their own classic duets such as
"Solid" and "Let Love Use Me".
Here is just a short list of classic songs that Nick Ashford & Valerie Simpson wrote that
will remain part of the American music canon forever:

"I'm Every Woman"
"Ain't Nothing Like The Real Thing"

Nick Ashford was  and is survived by his wife, Valerie, and 2 daughters.
